Nov 2009: Almost Astronauts has been selected an Outstanding Science Trade Books for Students K-12 for 2010, a cooperative project of the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) and the Children’s Book Council.  The list will be published in the NSTA journal and exhibited at the 2010 NSTA convention in Philadelphia.  It will also be part of the Association of Science-Technology Centers’ traveling science exhibit," Children's Science Book Library," which goes to science museums, nature centers, aquariums, planetariums, zoos, botanical gardens, natural history museums and children’s museums worldwide.
